DespairLord, please do not treat my as I deserve. I will not be able to withstand the punishment for my sins. I know what I deserve. I am wracked with pain and guilt.

O LORD, rebuke me not in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath. Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am languishing; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is greatly troubled. But you, O LORD–how long? Turn, O LORD, deliver my life; save me for the sake of your steadfast love.
(Psalms 6:1-4 ESV)

I am so low and have to crawl so low in Your sight, Lord. I am not fit to serve You, or to worship You.

Can you hear the sound of my weeping? You heard David's plea and you accepted David's prayer. Yet he wept for days. Maybe I have got several more nights yet.
