I'm supposed to post something for my birthday, amn't I? But when you get to my age, you stop noting birthdays – or rather, you note the date, but not the number attached to it.
I must admit, though, that I like the fact that Facebook publishes the birthdays and also reminders to leave birthday messages. So I get messages that I didn't expect, which I enjoy. Some people have even sent photos of cakes! And there are no calories in those photos.
Some have asked what I want for my birthday. I'll tell you what I would like. I would like to know that my books are of use to you. That's why I write them. So, if you want to “give” me a present, just go and buy one of my books – especially the most recent one, Don't Miss the Boat. You can get this book, and the others, from my Amazon aStore.
Your books are of great use. I am ashamed we haven't gotten the latest one yet, (will remedy that very soon!) but we have thoroughly enjoyed the others. I frequently pull out “Six Days of Genesis” to share with friends or reread favorite parts. Although I try to read it with your delightful accent in my head, I'm pretty sure I don't come close to doing it justice.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And I am so glad y'all came to join CTM in Pensacola! We've been blessed to know you and your precious family.
